Division of Infectious Diseases names new administrator

The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce that Amie Stephens will join the Division of Infectious Diseases as the new administrator, effective June 1.

As the administrator, Stephens will be responsible for all TEC and university-based major division activities including grants and contracts, clinical operations, development and administration of TEC and university budgets, financial analysis, space management, and human resources management.

Stephens comes to Emory from the Department of Pediatrics – Division of Infectious Diseases at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she directed research activities, gifts and endowments; participated in clinical management and clinical budget meetings; and prepared the annual operating budget.

Stephens graduated with a master of business administration from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor of arts in management from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
