Lindsay Grasser named director for the Department of Medicine’s Research Administration Services Unit

The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce that Lindsay Grasser has been named director of the department’s Research Administration Services (RAS) Unit, effective September 13.

Grasser returns to Emory after serving as director of the Georgia State University School of Public Health’s Office of Research and Sponsored Projects for the last two years. Prior to her time at Georgia State, she served as the pre-award manager for Emory’s Yerkes RAS, and has also held both pre- and post-award research administrator roles at George Mason University and Penn State University.

Grasser earned her bachelor of science in project management and her master of business administration from Colorado Technical University. She serves on the National Council of University Research Administrators and is the former treasurer of the Virginia Chapter of the Society of Research Administrators (SRA).

We are excited to have Grasser join the department, and we look forward to the RAS Unit entering a new phase under her leadership.
