Faculty Excellence: 2020 Dean’s Teaching Awards

The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce Meredith Lora, MD, assistant professor in the Division of General Medicine; Varun Phadke, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases; and Jennifer Spicer, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, have been awarded the Emory School of Medicine Dean’s Teaching Award for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Award recipients are nominated by the entire medical school community and chosen by the Teaching Awards Committee for their dedication to medical student teaching, and their many contributions as course directors and mentors.

Congratulations to our faculty on this honorable recognition! We thank them for their service to the education mission of the school and know that they will continue the important work of educating society’s future physicians and healthcare providers.

Award recipients will be recognized at the virtual Celebration of Faculty Excellence October 28, 2020.
