Register for upcoming diabetes education program!

The Emory Diabetes Education Training Academy will host a new virtual diabetes education program from the end of April 2021 through the beginning of July 2021. The program, “Updates on Glycemic Control Biomarkers in Diabetes,” will include six consecutive bi-weekly webinars and a Diploma of Completion will be provided to participants. No CME credits are available for this program.

The objective of these webinars is to provide practitioners with an update on the role of glycated albumin as a diagnostic tool in patients with diabetes. Recent studies validating glycated albumin as a potential glycemic control marker have brought its use out of limited research settings and it is now widely available in commercial laboratories in the United States.

The program is directed and moderated by Rodolfo J. Galindo, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Lipids. Please contact Ina Flores, coordinator of the Emory Diabetes Education Training Academy, with any questions.
