Division of Digestive Diseases Announces Interim Leadership Team

We are pleased to announce the interim leadership team for Division of Digestive Diseases. Shanthi Srinivasan, MD, professor of medicine, has been appointed interim division director and Jennifer A. Christie, MD, associate professor of medicine, will serve as interim associate division director for clinical affairs. These roles became effective February 12, 2018.

Dr. Srinivasan and Dr. Christie will work with the Digestive Diseases Leadership Council, as well as administrative leaders Gina Critchet and Sarah Knox. We want to thank Dr. Mark Czaja, Dr. Julia Massaad, Dr. Emad Qayed, Dr. Ram Subramanian, and Dr. Field Willingham in particular for their input and support.

We appreciate the willingness of all of these leaders to help in this interim period and to guide the Division of Digestive Diseases and the Department of Medicine’s mission to advance health through discovery, education, and care.
