Match Day 2024: The Department of Medicine is proud to welcome 58 incoming IM residents!

The Department of Medicine is thrilled to introduce the incoming 2024–2025 J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency program interns!

This rising class of 58 candidates will join us to begin their residencies this July. Match Day is an exciting day in the careers of young physicians, and it represents the culmination of their hard work over four or more years of medical school training. This year, we received more than 4,700 applications for 490 interview spots to recruit a class of highly talented trainees. Our incoming class represents 38 medical schools from 22 states nationwide and Washington, D.C, with one international candidate and five candidates from Emory University School of Medicine.

2024–2025 J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency program interns:

We look forward to welcoming our new residents to the Emory family and supporting them to become the next generation of health care leaders. Over the course of their training, they will be exposed to a comprehensive, innovative medical curriculum that reflects the Emory University School of Medicine’s tripartite mission of education, research, and clinical care. Congratulations to our incoming residents!
