2022 Department of Medicine Research Day taking place this October!

We’re looking forward to the 2022 Department of Medicine Research Day tentatively take place in person at the Emory Student Center on Thursday, October 27, 2022, from 7:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. (subject to Emory Pandemic Operating Status). The department is thrilled to have received 130 abstracts from each of our ten divisions and spanning the entire academic spectrum from undergraduates to full professors.

The program includes both oral and poster presentations, as well as a keynote address from E. Dale Abel, MD, PhD, Chair and Executive Medical Director, Department of Medicine, David Geffen School of Medicine, UCLA Health. Awards are given at the conclusion of the day to recognize the most outstanding presentations.

Department of Medicine Research Day has celebrated research efforts across the department since 2008. The event brings together researchers from all divisions and provides an opportunity to share exciting new findings, facilitate scientific exchange, and identify potential new collaborations.
