Department of Medicine hosts collaborative Point of Care Ultrasound Workshop

The Department of Medicine’s Internal Medicine Residency Global Health Distinctions Program (GDPH) recently hosted a virtual port of care ultrasound (POCUS) workshop with colleagues from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The workshop was led by Krisha Desai, MD, PGY-3 and Manpreet Malik, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Hospital Medicine, with participation from Lisa Daniels, MD, an Emory Critical Care faculty member. More than 60 people attended the workshop.

Emory’s GDPH program is led by Russell Kempker, MD, associate professor of medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases, and Paulina Rebolledo, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases.
