Vin Tangpricha named Southern Society for Clinical Investigation president-elect

Vin Tangpricha, MD, professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism, and Lipids, has been named the 2022 Southern Society for Clinical Investigation (SSCI) president-elect. SSCI is a regional academic society dedicated to the advancement of medically-related research. Its major focus is encouraging students and post-graduate trainees to enter academic medicine and to support junior faculty success in clinical investigation.

“I’m honored to serve the SSCI as the president-elect,” said Tangpricha. “I hope to promote SSCI’s mission to mentor future generations of medical investigators and to promote careers in academic medicine at Emory and throughout the South.”
