Anna Fox joins the Department of Medicine as the administrator for the Division of Digestive Diseases

The Division of Digestive Diseases is excited to announce that Anna Fox has been named administrator, effective October 4. In this role, Fox will oversee clinical and academic operations across the division.

Fox returns to Emory from the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago where she served as the division administrator for Palliative Care and Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation. In this role, she had administrative oversight of clinical operations, research activity, and educational programs within the two divisions comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers, primary investigators, fellows, and non-clinical staff members.

Fox joined Emory Healthcare in 2016 as a Management Development Program participant where she served as the clinic operations manager of the Surgical Specialties Clinic at Emory University Hospital Midtown. In her role at Emory Midtown, she oversaw the growth of multiple surgical specialties, as well as the growth of Plastic Surgery at Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital and Emory University Hospital. In 2019, Fox assumed administrative oversight of the Emory Aesthetic Center and the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

We are thrilled to welcome Fox back to Emory, and we look forward to seeing how her leadership will help the Division of Digestive Diseases continue to thrive.
