All Department of Medicine faculty, staff, and trainees are invited to attend the COVID Collaborative’s Fireside Chat with Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the NIAID and chief medical advisor to President Joe Biden.
The event, titled “COVID-19 Action in the Biden Era” will take place February 9 at noon. DOM Medicine Grand Rounds will be canceled so that all DOM members can attend the chat.
The event will feature a discussion between Fauci and the co-chairs of the COVID Collaborative, former Governors Deval Patrick (D-MA) and Dirk Kempthorne (R-ID). During the chat, Fauci will discuss how the new administration is approaching the COVID-19 crisis. There will also be a moderated Q&A through the Zoom chat feature.
