Daniel Dressler, MD named a 2020 Master of Hospital Medicine

The Department of Medicine is excited to announce that Daniel Dressler, MD, MSc, SFH, professor of medicine, has been named a Master of Hospital Medicine by the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Masters in Hospital Medicine are distinguished by the excellence and significance of their contributions to the field of hospital medicine and healthcare overall. They have been selected because of personal character; positions of honor; contributions towards furthering the goals of the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM); distinction in practice; education; medical research; and/or other achievements in science or in the art of hospital medicine.

Only three hospitalists nationally received this designation in 2020, and only approximately 30 hospitalists have received the designation in the past 10 years. Dressler is the only physician at Emory to ever receive this recognition.

Please join us in congratulating Dressler on this honor!
