Nancy Collop, MD receives Master Fellow Award from the American College of Chest Physicians

Nancy Collop, MD, professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine, recently received the Master Fellow Award from the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST). Collop is one of only four women to receive the award.

Masters of CHEST are national or international Fellows of CHEST who have distinguished themselves by attaining professional preeminence. Because of their personal character and leadership; extraordinary contributions to medical research, clinical practice, quality improvement, or medical education; and years of enduring and outstanding service to CHEST, they have advanced chest medicine.

Masters are authorized to use the designation Master FCCP (Master of the American College of Chest Physicians) in connection with their professional activities, provided they continue to be a Fellow. The Master FCCP recipient shall receive a certificate bearing his or her name, waived registration to the CHEST Annual Meeting, and have their dues permanently waived.

Please join us in congratulating Collop on this recognition!
