Alicia Chatman named new administrator for the Division of Digestive Diseases

The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce that Alicia Chatman, DHA, MHA has joined the Division of Digestive Diseases as the new division administrator.

As the division administrator, Chatman will be responsible for all Emory Clinic and university-based major division activities including grants and contracts, clinical operations, development and administration of TEC and university budgets, financial analysis, space management, and human resources management.

Chatman comes to us from a practice in Florida where she was responsible for the financial and operational performance for assigned clinics and specialty areas for more than six years. She has more than 15 years of experience working in various clinical settings as a senior business manager and practice administrator.

Chatman received her doctorate in health administration from Capella University and her master’s degree in healthcare administration from South University in Savannah, Ga and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Florida A&M University.
