The Department of Medicine is thrilled to introduce the incoming 2020-2021 J. Willis Hurst Internal Medicine Residency program interns. Match Day is the culmination of our annual recruitment season and celebrates a defining moment in these young physicians’ careers. This rising class of 55 candidates will begin their residencies this July.
They include:

- Two combined internal medicine/psychiatry track
- Eight primary care track
- One research track
This year, we received more than 4,900 applications for approximately 500 interview spots to recruit a class of highly talented trainees.
