Join us for the 6th annual Social Medicine Forum hosted by the social medicine work group and the Emory University Urban Health Initiative.  Carlos del Rio, MD, Hubert Professor and Chair of the Department of Global Health and Professor of Epidemiology at the Rollins School of Public Health; Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University School of Medicine; Program Director of the Emory AIDS International Training and Research Program; and co-Director of the Emory Center for AIDS Research (CFAR), will be the keynote speaker and discuss, “Reflections on Social Medicine.”

The Social Medicine Forum is the culminating activity for Emory’s social medicine course that encourages future clinicians to consider multiple complex determinants and factors that impact health and healthcare “beyond the office visit.” Please join us for a poster presentation before Dr. del Rio’s keynote address.
