Resident Spotlight: Alice Queen Jiang

Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I’m from Dallas, Texas and went to UT Southwestern Medical School. In my free time I like doing yoga, being outdoors, and eating everything.

Why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?
It’s the intersection of so many things I am passionate about: education, advocacy, science, and caring for others.

How have your first few weeks of residency been?
The start of residency has been overwhelming at times, but I’ve had so much support from my team and staff members!

What are you most looking forward to during your time at Emory?
Getting to know my fellow residents.

What is your favorite thing about living in Atlanta?
Atlanta has so many accessible green spaces.
