Research Day

Research Day Abstract BreakdownDepartment of Medicine faculty members submitted 160 abstracts for the 11th annual Emory Department of Medicine Research Day, which will be held Friday, October 26 from 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Cox Hall Ballroom at Emory University. The registration deadline for this event is Friday, October 19.

Research Day has celebrated faculty research efforts since 2008. The event brings together researchers from all divisions and provides an opportunity for faculty to share exciting new findings, facilitate scientific exchange, and identify potential new collaborations. All members of the department, including postdoctoral fellows, residents, and students, are encouraged to participate.

The full-day program includes both oral and poster presentations as well as a keynote address titled “Preventing Cancer Recurrence” from Vikas P. Sukhatme, MD, ScD, Dean of the Emory University School of Medicine. Awards are given at the conclusion of the day to recognize the most outstanding presentations. Click here to view the event schedule.
