In honor of National Doctors’ Day (March 30), the Emory University School of Medicine Recognitions Committee asked faculty and staff to nominate doctors who demonstrate dedication to improving the health and well-being of our patients and community through the care they provide, the research they conduct, and/or their efforts to teach and inspire young doctors.

Field Willingham, MD – Associate Professor of Medicine 

“Dr. Willingham is an outstanding mentor with an impressive record of scholarship. He has also made extensive service contributions.”

 

 

 

 

Jennifer A. Christie, MD – Associate Professor of Medicine

“Dr. Christie is the newly appointed clinical director of Emory Medicine’s GI practice at the Emory Clinic and Emory University Hospital. She’s great with staff and an excellent role model. She’s also dedicated to ongoing clinical GI research in the Division of Digestive Diseases.”

 

 

Julia Massaad, MD – Assistant Professor of Medicine

“Dr. Massaad provides superb patient care and has been recognized by primary care as one of the best specialists. She has also developed an outstanding fellowship training program.”

 

 

 

Stephan Goebel, MD – Assistant Professor of Medicine (Not pictured)
