Thank you to all who supported the Atlanta Hunger Walk/Run 5K 2016. The Emory Department of Medicine team raised approximately $3,500. Proceeds from the Hunger Walk will go to six local hunger relief organizations that operate and support hundreds of food pantries, shelters, community kitchens, senior centers, and child care centers across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.
For the fourth year in a row, the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine won the Chairman’s Cup for having the highest participation rate in the department. Division Director David M. Guidot, MD personally raised $625.
